Proofreading involves checking the spelling, grammar, punctuation and consistency of a final draft.

 

Copyediting includes the proofreading elements but goes deeper, making suggestions to improve sense, flow and tone and to avoid repetition. It can also include 'tightening' the text to reduce word count where required.

 

I will work through your manuscript in Word, using 'Track changes' to make suggestions that you can then choose whether to accept.
